Thailand Guide
Country Summary
Thailand is one of the most well-known & welcoming countries for Expatrians. For those who are at least 50 years old, you can take advantage of dedicated 'long-stay' retirement visas. For the wealthy, the Elite visa makes it easy to come in and out of the country at will as streamlined as humanly possible; for the digital nomads, an educational visa for learning the language is relatively simple to obtain. Not everything is perfect; you are generally required to 'check in' every 90 days, and individual foreigners can't own the land their purchased properties sit on. While the country maintains certain restrictions on foreign ownership and employment, it provides various legal frameworks for foreigners to live, work, and invest in the kingdom.
